Simply when I think weeding, the image I get in my mind is beautiful dress, loud music, family gathering, celebrations, decorations, sweets, and most importantly bride and bride groom. Wedding ceremony is the special as well as the most prominent celebration that unites two people for a life time with a vow to love each other, take care of each other, and remain together no matter what the situation brings. This ceremony not only unites two people for a lifetime but also bring the family generation together. It’s the only celebration that takes a life time to make it work so it is started with blessing from elders, performed mostly after the family approval. Wedding ceremony is only the lone celebration that is waited excitedly in the family after the child is born. Marriage, Nuptial, Matrimony, Amalgamation are among the several other synonyms of Wedding. All these word deliver same meaning; wedding is a simple ceremony in which marriage unites people. As well as it is small and private.
As the tradition and the customs followed in the wedding varies greatly in term of custom, religions, countries, ethnic groups yet exchanging vows, music, poems, religious books, prayers add some similarities. Not because they don’t love their innocent new infant it’s because they have to pay a heavy amount of dowry in the wedding ceremony of their daughter. As it is the most beautiful celebration of all time. There are still some elements that make it dull. The main of this element is Dowry System. Marriage being the most special day in the girl’s life though she is killed brutally in this special occasion in the lack of Dowry. In the country like India dowry system is as old as its existence.
